Are lessons online?
Yes. All lessons take place online, so your child can learn from home with no travel time, and lessons can fit around your family's routine.
Which platforms do you use?
We use Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Google Classroom. We'll agree the most suitable set-up with you before lessons begin.
How long is each lesson?
Tuition is priced by the hour. The length and frequency of lessons are agreed with you based on your child's needs and goals — we'll talk this through during the free insight class.
Is the insight class free?
Yes. The free 30-minute insight class is completely free, and there is no obligation to continue with tuition afterwards.
What happens during the insight class?
It's a relaxed, 30-minute online session where you and your child meet the tutor, talk about your child's needs, experience our teaching approach, identify areas where support would help, and discuss possible tuition arrangements.
Do parents receive feedback?
Yes. Parents can receive ongoing feedback and progress updates. Where appropriate, we set up a dedicated WhatsApp group with the parent, student and tutor so communication stays open and transparent.
Do you support homework?
Yes. Lessons can include support with homework, helping students understand the work rather than simply completing it.
Do you provide exam preparation?
Yes. For GCSE and A Level students, tuition can include revision planning, exam-style practice and exam technique.
Can lesson times be arranged around our availability?
We aim to be flexible. Lesson times are agreed with you and arranged around your family's availability wherever possible.
How much does tuition cost?
Primary tuition is £25/hour. GCSE tuition is £30/hour and A Level tuition is £30/hour. Our 4-Hour Weekly Package is £100/week for GCSE and A Level students.
Do you offer discounted rates?
Our 4-Hour Weekly Package offers 4 hours of GCSE or A Level tuition for £100/week. Discounted rates from £20/hour may be available for eligible students who receive free school meals. Eligibility applies — please get in touch to discuss.
